Moscow Vibes is an independent English-language travel guide to Moscow. Our articles are free to read. We help cover the costs of running the website through affiliate commissions, advertising where applicable, and voluntary contributions from readers.
This page explains how these arrangements work, when we may earn money and how we keep commercial relationships separate from our editorial recommendations.
Affiliate Links
Some links on Moscow Vibes are affiliate links. If you follow one of these links and make a qualifying booking or purchase, we may earn a commission from the provider or affiliate network.
You do not pay a separate fee to Moscow Vibes for using an affiliate link. Prices, availability, booking conditions and any additional charges are determined by the relevant provider. We cannot guarantee that prices are identical across different booking channels.
We identify commercial relationships where relevant so readers can recognise affiliate recommendations. Affiliate links may also contain the HTML attribute rel=”sponsored”, which helps search engines identify commercial links. This technical attribute does not replace a clear disclosure to readers.
Travelpayouts
We work with travel-related businesses through the Travelpayouts affiliate network. These partners may offer flights, accommodation, tours, activities, transfers and car rentals.
Some articles may contain affiliate links or booking tools that direct visitors to external travel providers. If you make a qualifying booking or purchase through one of these links, Moscow Vibes may receive a commission.
Travel bookings and purchases are handled by the relevant external provider under its own terms, prices, cancellation rules and privacy arrangements. Moscow Vibes does not directly operate these booking services.
Amazon Associates
Moscow Vibes participates in the Amazon Associates programme, an affiliate advertising programme that allows participating websites to earn commissions by linking to Amazon products.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Amazon affiliate links may contain tracking identifiers used to attribute eligible purchases. Products, prices, availability, delivery conditions and returns are determined by Amazon or the relevant seller.
Our participation in Amazon Associates does not mean that Amazon sponsors, approves or endorses Moscow Vibes.
Advertising
In addition to affiliate links, Moscow Vibes may display clearly identifiable advertisements or offer commercial partnerships relevant to travel and tourism.
Advertising is separate from our independent editorial content. An advertisement does not mean that we have personally tested or endorsed the advertised product or service.
Where advertising or partner tools use cookies or similar technologies, the applicable privacy and consent requirements must be observed.
Information about how external services process personal data is available in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Our Independence
- Editorial decisions: We select places and topics because they are relevant and useful to travellers, not simply because a commercial partner offers compensation.
- No paid editorial rankings: We do not accept payment to influence independent editorial rankings, praise a business or guarantee its inclusion in an editorial article.
- Affiliate recommendations: The availability of an affiliate commission does not guarantee that a product, business or destination will be recommended.
- Sponsored content: If we publish sponsored material, we distinguish it from independent editorial content and identify its commercial nature clearly.
- Transparency: We aim to make relevant commercial relationships clear so readers can take them into account when evaluating recommendations.
Our articles are prepared with AI assistance and checked according to the process described in our Editorial Policy. The presence of an affiliate link does not change that editorial process.
Reader Support
Readers can also support Moscow Vibes through voluntary contributions.
If our guides have helped you plan a trip or learn more about Moscow, you can choose to leave a tip through the payment option on our Support Moscow Vibes page.
Contributions are entirely optional. They are not required to access our articles, are not linked to downloads and do not unlock additional content.
Payments are processed by PayPal under its own terms and privacy arrangements. We do not ask readers to make a contribution in exchange for favourable editorial coverage.
